Blain Johnson

Blain Johnson began his technology career in Enterprise Software Sales in 1998 focusing his early days driving enterprise systems management business value for Fortune 500 end users with the world’s largest SI’s and Outsourcers. Prior to BMC’s 2020 Compuware acquisition, in 2016 Blain joined Compuware and lead the sales team to win their flagship Mainframe Development Modernization Customer, American Express. He then initiated and grew Compuware’s Partnership organization globally, focusing on helping partners add mainframe development innovation and agility for their end users. In a continuation of that role, he now represents BMC’s mainframe portfolio to all BMC partners in North America. Blain lives in Breckenridge, where he enjoys many of the outdoor activities that Colorado offers and staying up to date on the latest in IT.
